Post-World-Café Reflections
I felt something different than before because it was new style of discussion. Also, it was really nice experience while I met other students from Nikki's class. It was like a formal meeting which everyone should share his/her subject and inform others the information that he/she has. The enjoyable part for me was sharing my article and telling my group members about what I have read and understood from it. However, it was kind of difficult when one of the group members had not read the article so it cause us difficulty to find out the point of his article.
I think letter (d) was the most hardest one to decide because it was about putting yourself in the position of one of the characteristics and each of us had his/her own imagination for the situations based on his/her vision for life and experience in life. Therefore, our answers had variety of order.
3. Was it easy or difficult to come to agreements with your groups? What made it easy and what made it challenging?
4. Were you happy with your group’s definition of courage? What would you like to change, if anything?
2. Which letter from #5 on page 1 was hardest to decide in your group? a b c d Why do you think it was the hardest?
I think letter (d) was the most hardest one to decide because it was about putting yourself in the position of one of the characteristics and each of us had his/her own imagination for the situations based on his/her vision for life and experience in life. Therefore, our answers had variety of order.
3. Was it easy or difficult to come to agreements with your groups? What made it easy and what made it challenging?
I think for most of the parts was easy to come to agreement because somehow we had same opinion and idea about the answers. In addition, some of them were challenging because each one had his/her own logical explanation for the subjects and answers.
I can say it was good enough to be happy about it. Even though I would like to add this part: courage is doing and/or saying something different than others do and/or say, when it in need to do so; in order to get benefit for others.
I like your answer for the 3rd question.
ReplyDeleteWe sometimes disagree because we have different opinions and that depends on how we see the situation of each story.
Thank you so much Ibrahim I totally agree with you.
Deletehi,
ReplyDeletei think you got benefit of discussion group
Hello Saeed,
DeleteThanks for stoping by. Of course I did it was really nice opportunity.
I really like your addition to your group's definition of courage - because courage can be about doing or saying something, and there is always that "other" that one is protecting or supporting as part of it (even if it's also for yourself).
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot dear Ruth for your nice explanation, I'm really happy that you liked it and your comment is a good motivation for me.
